Account guide

Official guidance. Do not share passwords or recovery codes here.

What is the difference between Full, Primary and Secondary?

These are our account-access labels, not official Sony plans. Choose the access type you need and check the specific product terms before ordering.

Primary

  • Enable console sharing on your console, then play through your personal account.
  • Offline-capable games can be played without internet after downloading and activation. Online modes and always-online games still need a connection.
  • Trophies are earned on the personal account you use to play.
  • You must not change the supplied account’s email, password or username.

Secondary

  • Play through the supplied account, rather than your personal account.
  • You need an internet connection throughout play.
  • Suitable if you have a stable connection and are happy to play and earn trophies on another account.
  • You must not change the account’s email, password or username.

Full — complete account access

  • Receive the account credentials and email access as described for the product.
  • Use it as Primary or Secondary and change email, password and online ID using the relevant PSN settings.
  • Console sharing can let a friend use the primary console while the purchasing account plays online elsewhere. This depends on the game licence and Sony rules; simultaneous play is not guaranteed for every title.
  • Full access usually costs more because it gives account control. Check the actual price in the product options.
How do I enable sharing on PS5?

On your PS5 account, open Settings → Users and Accounts → Other → Console Sharing and Offline Play, then Enable. An account can enable sharing on one PS5 at a time. Use this only when your product’s access terms permit it; confirm those terms before ordering.

How do I change my EA account details?

If you control the account and the product allows credential changes, open EA Account → Account information, then Edit beside the email or other detail. EA may require identity verification and limits how often email and EA ID can change. Password resets start with Forgot your password on the sign-in page. These instructions do not imply every listed account allows all credential changes.

Where are my EA backup codes?

Sign in to your official EA account and open Security and Privacy → Two-factor authentication. After setting up verification, choose View backup codes and keep them securely. Identity verification may be required. These codes grant account access: do not enter them in the valuation tool or include them in uploaded screenshots.

Where are my PlayStation backup codes?

Sign in to official Account Management and open Security → Backup Codes. Store them securely; each code is single-use. If you cannot sign in, you cannot view the codes online and need the official account-recovery process.

How do I change my Steam account details?

If your account’s access terms allow changes, use the Steam client or official support. Secure its associated email account too, including Outlook.

Password and email

  1. Open Steam → Settings → Security → Change Password. Complete the requested verification and choose a new password.
  2. For email: Settings → Account → Change contact email. Complete the displayed verification, then verify the new address.

Profile name and login name are different

Change your visible profile name in Edit Profile. The Steam Account Name used to sign in and the SteamID cannot be changed, including by support.

How do I choose a PSN card?

Check your account region and the denomination before ordering. Region and value options come from the catalog; having a gift-card category does not imply every region or value is available.

Is a FUTBIN squad value the account’s cash value?

No. Squad value in coins is a valuation input, not an account’s cash sale price. Tradeable and untradeable items differ; liquid coins, platform, Web App access and game ownership also matter. BRISKRO must define the rules for each component. An estimate is not an EA valuation or a confirmed purchase offer.

How do I set up or move Steam Guard?

Steam Guard adds verification beyond your password. Codes can arrive by email or through the Steam Mobile app.

  1. For email codes: Steam → Settings → Security → Manage Steam Guard, then choose email codes.
  2. For mobile codes, sign in to the official Steam Mobile app, open Steam Guard and complete authenticator setup.
  3. Keep your recovery code securely. Find it in Steam Guard → gear icon → Recovery Code; do not share it.
  4. On a new phone, follow the Steam app’s transfer flow and verification. If both phone access and recovery code are lost, use Steam Support with account ownership evidence.
How do I change my Outlook account details?

Outlook and Hotmail use a Microsoft account. Manage its details through Microsoft, separately from Steam, for an account you control.

Password and display name

  1. Open Microsoft account Security → Change password, complete verification and save the new password.
  2. Change the display name in Your info. This does not change your email address.

Email address and recovery email are different

Manage account aliases to add another sign-in address for the same Microsoft account. An alias is not a recovery email or a new account. Changing Microsoft’s sign-in address does not automatically change Steam’s contact email.

How do I change my Outlook recovery email?

A recovery email is an account verification method. Open the official security-methods link below and sign in yourself; do not share verification codes.

  1. In Manage how I sign in, choose Add a new way to sign in or verify and add an email address you can access.
  2. Open the new email and enter its verification code on Microsoft’s page.
  3. Confirm the new method works before removing an old recovery method. Do not remove all security methods at once.

If a change is pending or verification is unavailable

Replacing all security information can trigger Microsoft’s 30-day restricted period. If you cannot use the previous methods, follow the official recovery options displayed. No link bypasses verification or the waiting period.

How do I add an authenticator to Outlook?

Use Microsoft Authenticator to verify sign-ins. Keep a working alternative method before changing phones or removing an existing method.

  1. Open security methods, choose to add a sign-in or verification method, select an authenticator app and follow the prompts.
  2. In the official app, choose Add account → Personal account and sign in or scan the QR code as instructed by Microsoft.
  3. Complete the verification test until Microsoft confirms setup. Do not share the QR or verification code; keep your account recovery code securely.

Require two-step verification?

Adding the app does not itself enable two-step verification. In security settings, open Two-step verification, turn it on and complete Microsoft’s prompts.

Where is my Outlook recovery code, and what if I cannot sign in?

A Microsoft account recovery code differs from a temporary authenticator code and a recovery email. Generate one while you still have account access.

  1. Open security methods, find Recovery code and choose Generate a new code.
  2. Store the code securely. Creating a new code invalidates the previous code; an existing code cannot be retrieved or downloaded again.
  3. If you cannot sign in, start with the official sign-in helper. The account recovery form cannot replace two-step verification when you have no working verification method.
